Mahmood Razavi, M.D.
Dr. Mahmood Razavi completed his medical degree at the University of Southern
California and his Residency in Radiology at the UCLA Department of Radiological Sciences.
He completed his subspecialty fellowship training in
Vascular & Interventional Radiology at Stanford in 1995 before joining the Faculty at the UCLA Department of Radiological Sciences and the West Los
Angeles VA hospital, where he served as the Chief of the Interventional Radiology Section.
He joined the faculty of the Stanford department of
Radiology as an Assistant Professor of Vascular & Interventional Radiology in 1996.
Dr. Razavi is the author or co-author of more than 120 scientific
publication and abstracts, including 6 in the area of uterine artery and fibroid embolization. His work has been features in numerous news articles
in various newspapers, magazines, television, and radio stations. He is an
internationally recognized authority in the fields of embolization and treatment of vascular
disease. "
